On June 10–11, 2024 from 17:00 to 19:00 CET, the Research Team of CIDER from OSINT for Ukraine held the first in-house informational wargame on Information Warfare (IW). This brief provides information about the outcomes, lessons learned, and implications of wargame initiatives. At the same time, we would like to thank X-Com for their support and the Center for Influence and Disinformation Research (CIDER) for helping us execute this initiative.

The Toxic Noise Wargame series is an innovative and immersive initiative by OFU aimed at deepening participants’ understanding of contemporary information warfare tactics and strategies. The primary objective of a wargame is an educational purpose: to understand and explore the complexities of information warfare by strategising and executing information warfare tactics aligning with predefined goals. Operation Twilight Echo is the first alpha test scenario of this initiative.
